About the Bookstore

The Rider University store is a self-supporting retailed service owned by Rider University and operated by Barnes & Noble College. The University Store serves the academic community by providing required and recommended textbooks and supplies for classroom use as well as a large selection of general interest books.

The store maintains a wide variety of other products - videos, greeting cards, magazines and newspapers, snack foods, health and beauty aids, office/school supplies, gifts, and clothing items. Computer software is available on-line at academic pricing. The University Store carries a wide assortment of Rider team apparel. Products and services available include rental titles, gift certificates, class rings, diploma frames, and gift wrapping. The University Store is open for service throughout the year except on legal holidays. Extended hours are provided at the beginning of each semester. The University Store accepts cash, personal checks (with proper ID), and most credit cards.

Your rented textbooks can be returned free by mail. Simply go to the campus store website and follow the instructions to print a shipping label. For Rental Returns, go to

What is offered in the Café?

The Café is designed for Westminster students to have a place to pause, and maybe study, meet friends, or simply pause!  With extended hours, the café is available for early birds and night owls.  There are snacks and beverages available as well. Everyone is welcome! 

Regular Hours of Operation

9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Vending machines serving coffee, snacks, water, juice, power drinks and soda
7:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Café is open and offering ready-made items to go including sandwiches, muffins, cookies, pudding, salads, and whole fruit and apparel is available for sale.

All your textbooks, recordings, and school supplies may be ordered online and will be delivered to the WCC Mailroom.  You will receive an email notification that a package has arrived.

What form of payments are accepted at the Café?

  • Gourmet accepts cash, credit card and Bronc Bucks at the register.   
  • Vending Machines accept cash and credit cards.
