IT Project Information

OIT manages over 100 major projects annually. Our goal is to successfully manage projects by completing them as quickly as possible. This process will allow for better transparency, governance, and communication now, and allow us to improve the process for the future.

Contract Process

To help streamline its services, the Office of Legal Affairs has automated the process in which faculty and staff can request to have contracts reviewed. Our intake form is used for submitting contracts for review and approval, prior to signature.  This process reduces email traffic back and forth by capturing the critical information up front, and also helps enforce submission standards, such as required information and documentation.

Legal Affairs reviews and negotiates hundreds of contracts a year. Our Office asks that contracts be submitted at least two weeks or more before the contract’s expected start date. Some contracts may require substantial time for review and in some cases rewriting.
