The office of Facilities Planning & Construction aims to improve and optimize the physical structures to serve the entire University community in line with the Strategic Goals of the University employing the highest levels of safety and sustainable practices
Building Operations and Maintenance
The office of Building Operations and Maintenance ensures the smooth operation of custodial services, key management, furniture and space inventory, maintenance service repairs and upkeep for the campus community.
Mechanical Services engages in a wide variety of preventative and general maintenance for the full range of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and building structures on campus.
The Grounds crew is responsible for landscape management and design, snow removal and lawn care, and athletic turf field maintenance.
Formed in 2007 shortly after Rider University signed on to the Second Nature Carbon Commitment, the Office of Sustainability focuses its mission to educate the Rider community to understand the fundamental economic, ecological and social dimensions of climate change for the 21st century.
