Service Support
The Office of Service & Civic Engagement staff are available to meet with student clubs and organizations to identify meaningful service experiences in the community that connect with each group’s mission and goals. OS&CE staff can facilitate the development of service initiatives and implementation of projects that are mutually beneficial to the community and Rider students.

Appliance Lending
We understand that some students may not be able to financially acquire microwaves & mini refrigerators for their dorm rooms. The Rider Resource Pantry can help!
A limited number of microwaves or mini refrigerators are now available for students to “borrow” for up to one academic year. Students will be responsible for maintaining the appliance and returning it clean and in good condition.
Are you in need of an appliance? Fill out the form here. All applications will be reviewed and selected based on need and availability. A decision on your application will be given to you 2 weeks after the start of the semester.
If you are interested in borrowing an appliance, please contact [email protected].
WhyHunger Hotline
The WhyHunger Hotline refers people in need across the U.S. to food pantries, soup kitchens, summer meals sites, government nutrition programs and grassroots organizations, especially those that provide access to nutritious foods and nutritional support services.
