The Rider Ramp Up program offers a unique and enriching blend of academic support and social engagement tailored to support and empower students with diverse socio-emotional needs.
This specialized program focuses on helping students navigate social interactions, understand social cues, and develop positive behaviors through evidence-based practices, empowering them for a brighter future.
The goals of Rider Ramp Up are:
- To bolster academic skills through individual and ongoing support.
- To offer personalized behavior intervention plans tailored to each student's needs.
- To provide interactive sessions that teach essential social skills, such as initiating conversations, understanding body language, and building friendships.
- To promote guided group activities and peer modeling to provide opportunities for practicing social skills in a safe and encouraging setting.
Enrollment in Rider Ramp Up is ongoing. Students begin attending Rider Ramp Up workshops during the summer and can continue into the fall. Throughout the academic year, students enrolled in Rider Ramp Up will have opportunities to participate in individual therapy and group activities.
