Visit campus and you could earn $1,000 for textbooks!
Rider is offering up to $1,000 for textbooks at the Rider Bookstore ($500 per semester for your first two semesters) to new undergraduate students who attend three on-campus admissions visits prior to enrolling by the deposit deadline.*
Qualifying on-campus visit options include:
- In-Person Campus Tours
- Open Houses
- Bronc for a Day
- B.F.A. Bronc for a Day (For admitted students in B.F.A. programs only)
- Financial Aid Friday Appointments
- Admitted Student Days
- Summer Preview Day
- Auditions (on-campus only)
- Official Division 1 Athletic Visits that meet with an admissions counselor (By invite only)
Virtual visits do not count toward the three qualifying on-campus visits.
Redeeming your reward
For qualifying students the $500 allocated for the fall semester will become available on August 1. To use these funds at the Rider University Bookstore please provide your Bronc ID at checkout. If shopping online at rider.bncollege.com, enter your Bronc ID under “Financial Aid” at checkout. The funds will automatically be taken from the $500 stipend. Any funds not used during the fall semester will be added to your spring semester stipend.

*To be eligible, new Rider undergraduate students must complete three (3) visits through the Office of Admission and submit their deposit by the deadline for their start term. Offer is valid for new students enrolling in Fall 2022, Spring 2023, Fall 2023 or Spring 2024 terms. Fall term students must deposit by May 1. Spring term students must deposit by January 15. Funds will be awarded to the qualifying students in the amounts of $500 each in the fall and spring semesters (up to $1,000 total value). Students must be in good standing with the University. Funds cannot be transferred, assigned, redeemed for cash or substituted by the recipients. Offer is only valid for the student's first two consecutive semesters at Rider and cannot be combined with other aid that covers textbooks.
