Prospective students and supporters are invited to explore campus, engage in academic discovery, and connect with the people who make Rider and its community a welcoming and supportive place! Attending Open House is the first stop in your journey of becoming a Bronc!

This event is for prospective fall 2027 and beyond freshman, transfer students, and their families/ supporters.

What to expect: 
  • Guided campus and residence hall tours to get a feel for life as Bronc.
  • Meet your future professors and explore academic programs that match your interest.
  • Get the student perspective on academics, campus life, and getting involved during a panel on the Rider experience.
  • Learn about the admissions process, application requirements, and next steps in your college-search process.
  • Enjoy a complimentary meal in Daly's Dining Hall and get a taste of Rider firsthand.

Welcome to Cranchella – your all-access pass to Rider. This exciting, choose-your-own-adventure visit experience gives students and their families/supporters the chance to explore Rider in a way that feels fun, flexible and totally their own. Build your day around what matters most to you — from academic programs and campus resources to student life, hands-on activities and meaningful connections across the Rider community.

The event is for prospective fall 2027 Undergraduate (freshman and transfers), Graduate, Continuing Education students, and their families/ supporters.

What to expect: 
  • Choose Your Own Lineup - Build a customized schedule that matches your interests with academic sessions, campus tours, student panels, and support services.
  • Catch a Session - Engage in conference-style workshops on everything from Division I athletics and residence life to commuting, classroom accommodations, financial aid, and more.
  • Meet the Rider Community - Connect with current Rider Broncs, faculty, and staff to hear Rider stories, ask questions, and discover what life as a Bronc is all about.
  • Discover Your Support Crew - Explore the resources that help students succeed; including academic support, career development, wellness services, and experiential learning opportunities.
  • Take the Tour - See where you'll learn, live, eat, and thrive. Explore campus, residence halls, dining spaces, and student hangouts. Early Bird Campus Tours begin at 8:30 a.m., so arrive early to make the most of your day.
  • Soak Up the Cranchella Vibes - Enjoy entertainment, interactive activities, giveaways, and plenty of Rider spirit as you experience the energy, creativity, and community that make our campus unique.

$1,000 Bronc Visit Award

Visit Rider and you can earn $1,000 per year! Undergraduate students entering Rider in fall 2027 who attend an eligible Open House or Cranchella event and deposit by May 1, 2027 can qualify for the Bronc Visit Award - a $1,000 annually renewable grant. See terms and conditions for details.
