Westminster Conservatory of Music
Founded in 1970, Westminster Conservatory has provided musical training to countless students from its location in Princeton and from satellite campuses in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. For the last several years, the Conservatory has operated on the former Westminster Choir College campus in Princeton under special arrangement with the Municipality of Princeton.
In the summer of 2026, Westminster Conservatory of Music moved to Rider University’s Lawrenceville campus. This move is part of broader operational and programmatic restructuring efforts intended to preserve and strengthen core Conservatory offerings while creating closer alignment with the new Westminster College of Media and Performing Arts.
The following Conservatory programs will be available on the Lawrenceville campus effective in the fall 2026 semester:
• Private instruction in piano, recorder, guitar, and voice
• Honors Music Program
• Westminster Community Orchestra
