Emergency School Closings
Emergency school closings will be communicated to students via email using the emails listed on your Conservatory account. Additionally, we will update our website and social media to reflect information on the emergency closing.
Families who register for 4 or more Conservatory offerings (private lessons, classes, performing ensembles) receive a 5 percent discount off their tuition.
Senior Citizen Discount
A discount of 15 percent is offered to senior citizens (age 60 and older) in most offerings. Some programs, however, (such as Opera Outings) cannot be discounted.
Rider University Discount
A discount of 20 percent is offered to Rider University students, faculty, and staff (including family members). In addition, the $50 registration fee is waived. Some programs, however, (such as Opera Outings) cannot be discounted.
Westminster Conservatory offers financial aid to qualifying families in the form of reduced tuition. Financial aid is determined on a sliding scale that considers family financial resources, the number of dependent children, the number of family members studying at the Conservatory, and the programs in which the student(s) are enrolled. Recipients must maintain reasonable progress and attendance and keep all payments current. Financial aid application (PDF) forms are available at any Conservatory office.
Parking is permitted on the Westminster campus for Conservatory students between Princeton Hall (the main Conservatory building) and the Cottages. The parking area between Princeton Hall and Franklin Avenue is Princeton municipal parking; parking in that area could result in a ticket.
Food and beverages are not permitted in teaching studios or rehearsal halls. There is no smoking allowed inside any campus building. No pets are allowed inside the Conservatory. For the safety of our students and faculty, skateboarding, rollerblading or other reckless activity inside any building is not allowed.
Children under 6 years old must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Please adhere to the fire code set by the State of New Jersey. In the event of a fire or a drill, all persons are to evacuate the building using the designated exits.
