The Center for Diversity and Inclusion at Rider University fosters understanding, appreciation and connection across the many cultures and perspectives that shape Rider’s community. Through programs, partnerships and advocacy, the Center helps create opportunities for students to learn from one another and engage in building a more inclusive campus.
Guided by Rider’s mission to prepare responsible citizens who embrace diversity, support the common good and contribute meaningfully to a changing world, the Center promotes dialogue and learning around complex social issues.
We are a community of many identities and experiences. The Center affirms and welcomes all forms of identity, including age, country of origin, (dis)ability, economic background, education level, ethnicity, gender identity and expression, immigration status, political views, race, religion, sex, sexual orientation and veteran status.
