Program overview

A minor in social work complements degrees in sociology, psychology, political science, health sciences and more. Through this course of study, you will gain a comprehensive overview of the field, techniques and practices and examine issues related to children and families.

Minor requirements

Our 18-credit minor creates an experience where you will acquire skills in interviewing, case management and group dynamics. You will also gain real-world experience through fieldwork in a social service agency.
