Local school teachers have the chance to collaborate and enhance their knowledge of science and math through two professional development programs held in a partnership between Rider University and Princeton University.

Rider University’s science departments inducted two notable alumni into the Science Stairway of Fame on June 9 during Reunion Weekend activities on the Lawrenceville campus.

As part of a service trip in May, the Rider group provided assistance in two villages outside of San Jose.

This was the University’s first year to participate in the competition where teams were charged to analyze and give a solution involving the energy and economic crisis in Pakistan.
