The Rebovich Institute for New Jersey Politics at Rider University will welcome Newark Mayor Ras J. Baraka for an event on Nov. 30 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
"A Conversation with Newark Mayor Ras Baraka" will feature a substantive conversation and a Q&A about his experience leading Newark since he became the city’s 40th mayor in 2014. Baraka’s urban revitalization efforts have resulted in the completion of major infrastructure projects, reduced crime and lowered unemployment.
Ras J. Baraka was sworn in as the fortieth Mayor of the City of Newark in 2014.
