In his first official mission as a U.S. Coast Guard swimmer and petty officer, @scottruskan ’21 rescued nearly 200 people from the deadly flood waters that ravaged central Texas during Fourth of July weekend.
Praised as an American hero for his role, Scott credits his crew and all those still on the ground doing the work.

As Rider’s 7th president, Dr. Gregory Dell’Omo's tenure was marked by significant, historic progress and even greater Bronc pride.
From overseeing major campus renovations to adding nearly 20 new academic programs, his commitment to strengthening the student experience remained a guiding force throughout his presidency.
Now, as he prepares to retire after nearly 40 years in higher education, he reflects on his Rider journey, his path to academia and his love for the Garden State.
