How Naa'san Carr found his #HomeAtRider :
"During a time in our nation where things were unsettled in 2020, I chose Rider because they were committed to my future and I saw an opportunity to leave a legacy through leadership, diversity and academics.
Choosing a favorite memory is very difficult; however, a memory that I hold close is running for Student Government Association (SGA) president and being elected. While there were a few struggles along the way, having the full support of Rider's identity-based clubs and organizations, as well as some faculty and staff, made it worth the fight.
This morning, the Rider community gathered to commemorate the tragic events of Sept. 11. In a moving ceremony, a memorial wreath was placed at the campus flagpole and the names of the Rider alumni who lost their lives were read aloud.
