Early Childhood / Elementary Ed Dual Licensure Program

The Early Childhood/Elementary Dual Licensure Program leads to two teaching certificates:

  1. Preschool through third grade (P–3)
  2. Elementary (Kindergarten through sixth grade).

This 126-semester hour program is available to any student who maintains a 2.75 GPA and meets all other requirements for admission and retention in the elementary education program.

In addition to the professional education courses required of elementary education students, students in this dual licensure program are required to take:

ECE 450 Developmental Methods & Assessment in Early Childhood Education 3
