Intervene with clients (individually and in group settings) experiencing a range of mental health concerns, such as depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, eating disorders, and addictions
Work with couples and families experiencing tensions and difficulties
Counsel clients who want to achieve personal goals and traverse various life transitions, such as working toward a healthy lifestyle and managing the stress of a recent move
Conduct psychoeducation and prevention programs for clients and families on issues such as coping skills, the physical and psychological effects of drugs and alcohol, and triggers for mental health disorders
Link clients and families with helpful community resources that may aid in treatment, such as local support groups
