Why Stuart Chose Rider
In the Fall of 2009, Stuart visited the Rider campus and fell in love immediately. With the radio and television studios, small class sizes and specialized academic buildings, Stuart saw his future at Rider. With endless opportunities at hand, Stuart did not think twice in his decision to attend Rider.
Rider’s Impact on Stuart’s Career
While Stuart was a student who stayed within his comfort zone, his experiences at Rider would push him into becoming more involved and prepare him for the inevitable challenges he would face in his career. Throughout his education, Stuart was exposed to collaborative projects and the fast-paced environment at 107.7 The Bronc. This exposure would grant him the opportunity to extend his knowledge in the field of radio and television as he would develop the skills of hosting and producing a radio show. With hands-on experiences such as his internships and 107.7 The Bronc, Stuart was provided the advanced knowledge of what it takes to become a successful producer.
I go to work every day feeling like it's not actually work. It's beyond my wildest dreams that I am able to work with some of the biggest names in the industry and am contributing to shows that are listened to and watched by thousands and thousands of people.”
Stuart is currently a producer for The Jim Rome Show and Tiki & Tierney Show at CBS Sports Radio and CBS Sports Network in New York City. Both shows air on hundreds of radio affiliates throughout the country. Stuart found his dream career and is able to correlate his two biggest passions- sports and radio- and create entertaining content for millions of listeners.
