In her time at Rider, Ashley majored in Radio, TV and Film. Putting her major in an on campus job, she gained experience working for the on campus TV organization, R.U.N., Rider University Network and with an internship at TerraCycle in Trenton, NJ.
Free to roam
While an undergraduate, Ashley’s potential career path kept changing. But she never saw this as a hurdle. If anything, the changes just helped her gain more experience. Her almost double majoring in sociology led to a minor in the subject and provided her with knowledge that she takes into her professional career everyday.
An expanding network
With strong connections and real-world experience, Ashley has taken her experiences from Rider and puts that expertise into further expanding her career.
Why Ashley Chose Rider
Growing up in East Windsor, NJ, Ashley chose Rider because it was close to home. From her first visit to campus, she was certain that Rider was the perfect place for pursuing her degree. She was impressed with the University’s smaller class sizes and tight-knit community, and felt that it could lead to positive relationships with professors and ensure close relationships with peers.
One valuable thing my time at Rider taught me was to work hard and never give up. Rider gave me the confidence to feel comfortable changing my career path and always pushed me to work hard to achieve my goals.”
