The University was awarded ‘best faculty’ overall
by Tatiana Sciancalepore
Rider University ranked No. 4 in a recent report of the “Best Online Universities and Colleges in New Jersey” by Intelligent.com. The University was also awarded "Best Faculty" overall.
Intelligent.com seeks to help students make informed decisions about higher education programs through its ranking system. Schools were evaluated on several factors including tuition costs, admission, retention and graduation rates, faculty and online resources.
Rider offers a number of 100% online degree programs, courses and certificate programs to meet the ever-changing needs of its students. Just this fall, Rider introduced an online cannabis studies certificate program, and an online graduate certificate program in cybersecurity is set to launch in the fall of 2023.
Rider’s distinguished faculty also play a significant role in students’ success. All University faculty are leaders in their disciplines with 93% having a Ph.D. or the highest degree in their field, and the overall student-to-faculty ratio is 10:1.
Rider University is consistently recognized by the most prestigious publications for academic excellence. In September, the University was once again named to The Princeton Review's Best Colleges rankings for 2023. Only about 14% of America’s four-year colleges are profiled in The Princeton Review. This year also saw Rider rise in rankings in U.S. News & World Report’s list of the best regional universities in the north.
