SGA Executive Board
Student Government Association (SGA) Executive Board
2018-2019 Executive Board Members
Student Body President
Name: Olivia Barone
Why did you join SGA? I joined SGA the second semester of freshman year. I was not involved in student government in high school but I wanted to be more involved at Rider and meet more people. Although I didn't know it at first, SGA would be a safe place to voice my concerns and I could see the changes actually occur. After my freshman year, I decided I wanted to be more involved within the organization. My sophomore year, I was chair of the Energy and Sustainability Committee and my junior year I was Vice President of University Affairs.
Favorite spot on campus? The SRC!
What is your favorite quote to live by? "UNLESS someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It's not.” - Dr. Seuss, The Lorax
Executive Vice President
Name: Allison Anderson
Why did you join SGA? It’s all about relationships and improvements. I knew coming into Rider there were already a great plethora of student leaders and I wanted to surround myself with people that have common goals. The best part about joining was knowing that we had one-third of a vote amongst the Administrators and Faculty. With this, making changes and improvements the students felt passionate about wouldn't be an issue. I wanted bring those ideas and some of my own to make Rider as open and useful for the students as possible.
What is your favorite quote to live by? An arrow can only be shot by pulling it backward. So when life is dragging you back, it means that it is going to launch you into something great. (Romans 8:18)
Vice President of Administration & Finance (VPAF)
Name: RahQuan King
Why did you join SGA? I joined SGA because it gave me the platform to speak up for the Rider student body that does not have a voice on campus. It also gave me the opportunity to interact with amazingly vibrant administration here at Rider. My position is very unique because usually the person handling the money has a back office, introvert personality but I challenged myself to be interactive and engaging when I accepted this position.
What is your favorite spot on campus? The gym without a doubt! I love giving out buckets but admittedly, I love being in the BLC too because I get to see many of the cool Rider administration.
Personal Motto: “Fill the bank with money but make sure to feed your soul simultaneously.”
Looking forward to in 2019: I am looking forward to walking across that stage in May, receiving my diploma, and making my grandmother smile once I complete 150 credits in four years and start on Wall Street with KPMG come September.

What’s your favorite quote to live by? "Imagination is the only weapon in the war against reality." - Cheshire Cat Alice in Wonderland
What’s your favorite spot on campus? My favorite spot on campus would have to be the campus mall. There is always something going on and is where most students congregate when the sun is shining.
What do I want to do before I die: Before I die I want to have as few regrets as humanly possible, to always believe in myself and push myself to go on my next adventure.
