Class Year
: Junior
Major: Criminal Justice and Sociology
Why did you join SGA?: I have been involved in Student Government since middle school, and I wanted to keep being involved in it until the end of my academic career.

What is/are your favorite spot(s) on campus?: Lynch Adler Hall and the SRC
What has been your favorite class?: My favorite class has been Social Problems (SOC 245). This is because I learned about different societal issues that held more power then I truly thought did. One issue we discussed was bullying, which I knew was a large issue but I learned all about different types of bullying that I had not known before. It provided me with a great deal of knowledge that I benefit from being aware of.
I smile when people are happy... When I see people finally being their happiest self I am filled with absolute joy because everyone deserves to be free and as happy as possible! I love seeing positivity being spread throughout the world.

Elizabeth O’Hara, Vice President for Academic Affairs
Class Year
: Junior
Major: Computer Science and Graphic Design
Why did you join SGA?: The reason I heard about SGA in the first place was because of Olivia Barone, the Student Body President when I was a freshman. Once I learned about all of the projects they were working on to advocate for and address student concerns, I knew it was the perfect way to get involved and create change at a level bigger than myself.
Why do you bleed Cranberry?: I first came to campus in 2006 when my oldest sister started her freshman year at Rider. Since then, I have seen our university evolve and transform into what it is today. However, some things have remained constant: the wonderful people, the endless opportunities to grow, and the chance to make memories and friends that last a lifetime.
What is/are your favorite spot(s) on campus?: When it is warm out, you will find me sitting on the patio outside of Sweigart getting homework done. I also love going to the Pub to eat and meet up with friends!
What are your favorite words to live by?: “Fight for the things that you care about, but do it in a way that will lead others to join you.” - Ruth Bader Ginsburg
What has been your favorite class?: Graphic Imaging for Digital Media with Professor Burger. I learned a lot and many of the projects I worked on ended up being added to my design portfolio. I also discovered a new interest in animation!
