Jared Trudeau is a voice teacher based in New York City and co-founder of BroadwayVox, a Musical Theatre education company aimed at changing education for performers and teachers. He holds an M.F.A. in Voice Pedagogy for Musical Theatre from Penn State and degrees in Music and Psychology from Tufts University, where he graduated summa cum laude with Highest Thesis Honors. Jared’s research focuses on the acoustics and physiology of how elite professionals sing across styles. He’s been published in the Journal of Voice and has presented at the Voice Foundation, Fall Voice, NATS, MTEA, and at many universities around the country. Additionally, he has been on faculty at Penn State, CAP21/Molloy University, and spent six years teaching undergraduate and graduate students at The Boston Conservatory at Berklee. His New York studio includes Grammy- and Tony-winning clients performing on Broadway, national tours, and beyond, as well as voice teachers and performers from around the world.
