107.7 The Bronc up for the National Association of Broadcasters’ College Station of the Year

For the fifth time in six years, Rider University’s student-run radio station, 107.7 The Bronc, has been nominated for College Station of the Year by the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB).
107.7 The Bronc is one of only five collegiate stations nominated for the 2025 NAB Marconi Radio Award, the highest recognition in the broadcast industry. This year’s winner will be announced on Oct. 21 during a special ceremony at the Edison Ballroom in New York City.
“This most recent national recognition by our fellow broadcasters from coast-to-coast caps off what’s been a strong year for 107.7 The Bronc and our passionate group of content creators,” says General Manager John Mozes. “The students’ unbreakable spirit and impenetrable belief in how the radio station not only produces content, but also how that content impacts the student experience here at Rider University is probably the biggest reason we are able to continually provide high quality, creative content for both the campus community and everyone who tunes into The Bronc.”
107.7 The Bronc has been continually recognized for its excellence. Most recently, The Princeton Review named 107.7 The Bronc as the No. 18 best college radio station in the nation. The station also earned two Intercollegiate Broadcasting System (IBS) Media Awards in May.
Established in 1989 and named after inventor and Nobel Prize winner Guglielmo Marconi, the NAB Marconi Radio Awards are given to radio stations and outstanding on-air personalities to recognize excellence in radio.
