Rider University was named one of the nation's best undergraduate institutions by The Princeton Review. Listed in the company’s college guide, The Best 391 Colleges, Rider stands among just 15% of America’s four-year colleges selected for inclusion.
The University was also recognized as a Best Northeast College and ranked No. 18 on the national list for Best College Radio Station.
"We are always proud to see Rider recognized for its academic excellence from such a prestigious source," says Dr. Kelly Bidle, provost and vice president of Academic Affairs. "Rider's commitment to pairing classroom learning with real-world experience prepares students to thrive after graduation. Our tight-knit community of faculty and staff are deeply dedicated to helping students find their path and equipping them for career success."
The Princeton Review selects institutions for the rankings based upon surveys of 2,000 college administrators about their institutions’ academic offerings. The company also surveyed attending students about dozens of topics, ranging from academics to student life, to capture their genuine experience.
Students surveyed praised Rider’s welcoming environment and unique learning opportunities as critical for their academic and professional success. From classes that challenge students to create and execute a full business plan, to internships that test their skills in the real world, Rider is committed to ongoing career preparation and support to help graduates thrive in their chosen fields.
"The colleges we profile in our 'Best Colleges' book are a truly select group,” says Rob Franek, editor-in-chief of The Princeton Review. “In our opinion, they are the nation's best undergraduate colleges and ideal choices for students seeking their 'best-fit' college."
