Housing
J-Term housing dates are Sunday, January 5, 2025 through Thursday, January 23, 2025. The cost to stay on campus during this time period is $400. Any student who needs housing during winter break must apply for winter break housing through the myRider portal (select Housing Portal). Eligibility for winter break housing includes maintaining an active spring semester housing assignment. Applications for J-Term housing are due no later than Friday, December 6, 2024.
The University will try to accommodate students in their fall housing location for the break period, however we cannot guarantee this. If safety considerations prompt a building closure, students requiring housing will be provided with a temporary housing assignment for the break.
Housing is not available for high school or other visiting students.

Dining
There will be no meal service available on campus from dinner on Friday, December 13, 2024 through Wednesday, January 1, 2025. Students should make alternate plans for meals during this period. The dining hall will reopen for service on Thursday, January 2, 2025. It is important to note that campus facilities may have modified hours and accessibility during the winter break period.
