Program Requirements

The 32-credit M.V.P. Classical track includes courses in vocal pedagogy and literature, culminating in a substantial vocal pedagogy project completed under the guidance of a Westminster voice faculty member.  

The 32-credit M.V.P. Musical Theatre track includes courses in music theater pedagogy and literature, culminating in a substantial vocal pedagogy project completed under the guidance of a Westminster voice faculty member.  

How to Apply

Because of the high standard required for admission to this program, applications will be considered only from candidates who can document professional experience, and who have worked in their chosen field for at least two years since their undergraduate degree was completed.

Access Westminster’s renowned Presser Voice Lab where you’ll explore the physics of sound, the fundamentals of musical acoustics, and acoustical elements that are unique to the human voice.

Graduates of Westminster’s program bring their vocal abilities, performance skills and teaching expertise to a number of diverse music programs in a variety of roles.
