John Farmer Jr. visited Rider’s Lawrenceville campus on Sunday, September 12, to discuss “The Legacy and Lessons of 9/11” in an event sponsored by The Rebovich Institute for New Jersey Politics of Rider University.

Three Doctors Foundation’s Mentor Day was held on Rider University’s Lawrenceville campus on September 18. More than 70 professionals from various industries provided educational advice and career mentoring to 300 sixth to 12th graders from New Jersey and New York City public schools.

As part the University’s Freshman Service Retreat, 85 new students and 15 upper-class leaders spent the afternoon of September 4 engaged in service projects throughout Mercer County.

Maureen Kyle, administrative specialist in the Dean of Students’ office on the Lawrenceville campus; head wrestling coach Gary Taylor; and Drew Aromando, executive director of One Stop Services, were presented with the 2010 Frank N. Elliott Award for Distinguished Service during the Opening Fall Convocation on September 2 in the Yvonne Theater.
