This summer, local school teachers will have the chance to collaborate and enhance their knowledge of science and math through two professional development programs held in a partnership between Rider University and Princeton University.

Rider University’s science departments inducted three successful alumni into the Science Stairway of Fame on June 11 during Reunion Weekend activities on the Lawrenceville campus.

Rider baseball saw two of its top pitchers selected in the Major League Baseball First Year Draft On June 7 and 8, when Nate Eppley ’11 was chosen in the 29th round by the Oakland A’s on Tuesday, followed by teammate Mike Thomas ’11, who was taken by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 35th round on Wednesday.

The 5th Annual 5K Walk/Run for Women's Athletics will be held on the campus of Rider University on Saturday, June 11, 2011. All proceeds from this event directly benefit Rider's 10 NCAA Division I women's varsity athletic programs and the cheerleading team.
