The diversity of Rider’s people and cultures truly enriches our University community, and to that end, Rider is celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month in November.

Rider launched its School of Liberal Arts and Sciences 50th Anniversary celebration on October 26 with Passport to the World, which presented an opportunity to meet Rider faculty members and students born outside the United States and experience the culture of their native lands, one nation at a time.

The Rider men’s basketball team will participate in a Thanksgiving sports tradition with the return of the Philly Hoop Group Classic to the historic Palestra in Philadelphia on November 25 to 26.

The local nonprofit aims to raise awareness of domestic violence and sexual assault, and to send a message that ‘peace begins at home.’

A highlight of Rider’s Family Weekend is the Founder’s Day Awards Ceremony, a tradition that honors Rider’s top students as Andrew J. Rider Scholars.

Students representing their respective residence halls competed to earn points, prizes and pride from October 17 to 20 during Rider's annual Battle of the Buildings on the Lawrenceville campus.
