In recognition of Black History Month, several Rider University organizations are presenting a series of events on the Lawrenceville and Princeton campuses during the month of February to celebrate African-American heritage and history in the United States.

The Rider University Department of Athletics will celebrate National Girls and Women in Sports Day with a free sports clinic for girls aged 5-18.

The Museum of Tolerance in New York will present a screening of “Stills of the Movement: The Civil Rights Photojournalism of Flip Schulke,” a documentary detailing the career of the preeminent Civil Rights photojournalist, on February 2 to honor Black History Month.

As a cybersecurity specialist for the North American Electric Reliability Corporation, Nick Santora, ’08, M.B.A. ’11, helps regulate the electric industry.

Activities will also feature athletics events and a skiing/snowboarding trip.
