The early numbers are in, and Rider University’s annual Relay for Life was once again a rousing success. Fifty-six teams of more than 715 participants turned out to raise more than $50,000 for cancer research on Saturday, April 6, on Rider’s Lawrenceville campus.

Meghan Wischusen, who spent the past two years living and teaching in Nicaragua as a Peace Corps volunteer, will discuss her unique educational experiences in the Central American nation on April 9.

Current Rider students and alumni networked with recruiters from more than 100 companies ranging from finance and retail to nonprofits and state and federal government at the Spring Career Fair on March 29 in the Cavalla Room.

As part of the Bonner Community Scholar program, 20 students served together in service throughout the Boston area during spring break.

Rider’s largest student-run event, Relay for Life 2013, will begin Saturday, April 6, at 6:30 p.m. in the Student Recreation Center on the Lawrenceville campus.
