Rider moves up 82 spots on list for best online MBA program
by Tatiana Sciancalepore
Rider University was ranked No. 169 among the 2023 best online MBA programs by U.S. News & World Report. This is an impressive 82 spot jump from last year. The University’s ranking for non-MBA, online graduate business programs came in at No. 126.
The rankings are exclusive to degree-granting programs that are offered primarily online by regionally accredited institutions. Rider’s Norm Brodsky College of Business is among the only 2% of schools worldwide that hold dual AACSB accreditation in both accounting and business.
“The continued rise in our rankings is a testament to the quality of Rider’s programs and a direct reflection of our dedication to our students,” says Dr. DonnaJean A. Fredeen, provost and vice president of Academic Affairs. “We’re proud to be able to provide a high-caliber education while meeting the desire for flexible, online coursework for our future business leaders.”
Rider’s fully online MBA and Master of Accountancy (MAcc) programs offer current professionals the opportunity to learn from the University’s highly-esteemed faculty in a convenient, accessible manner. With concentrations offered in four high-demand areas – business analytics, finance, information systems and sport management – students are able to tailor their studies to suit their career goals and needs.
In 2022, Rider University rose in all of its rankings in the U.S. News & World Report’s list of best regional universities in the north and was ranked No. 4 in a report of the “Best Online Universities and Colleges in New Jersey” by Intelligent.com.
U.S. News & World Report is the global leader in quality rankings. This year's report evaluated more than 1,800 online programs using five factors: student engagement, admissions selectivity, peer reputation, faculty credentials and student services.
