Continuing education students can now choose from 70+ undergrad programs
by Rachel Stengel '14, '20
Adult learners seeking to continue their education can now choose from more than 70 undergraduate programs at Rider University. The University has expanded its continuing education admissions to give adult learners age 25 and above the opportunity to pursue their degree full time or part time at a low, per-credit rate — $650 for on-campus degree programs and $600 for online degree programs.
“Adult students have additional responsibilities that can make earning an undergraduate degree challenging without the proper support and academic offerings,” says DonnaJean Freeden, Ph.D., provost and vice president for academic affairs. “Through Rider’s expanded continuing education admissions, adult learners can find an academic program that fits their interests and budget.”
All veterans and active-duty military are enrolled as continuing education students as a thank you for their service. Additionally, continuing education students who qualify for any of Rider’s university partnerships can receive the low, per-credit rate and the partnership discount.
Current students who qualify as a continuing education student will automatically receive the reduced tuition rate for classes beginning in the Summer I term. Individualized counseling is available to help all students decide what programs and formats are best suited for their needs.
