The AACSB accredited program fulfills the education requirements for students to sit for the CPA exam in any state
The Department of Accounting is excited to have launched its online Masters of Accountancy (MAcc) program in the fall of 2013.
The first cohort is currently taking an auditing practice and problems class as well as a seminar in federal taxes. Other new students hail from a variety of backgrounds, including experience at Big Four firms, regional accounting firms, Johnson & Johnson, Citigroup, private companies, law enforcement and many more.

A concentration in fraud and forensic accounting that can support a student seeking certification in this fast growing field is also offered. This 16-month program is ideal for busy professionals as they can complete their master’s degree in just four semesters on a part-time basis without having to return to campus. The program is designed to prepare students for a variety of career paths within the accounting profession.
