New Faculty Orientation
Designed to introduce new faculty to a wide range of information, both practical and theoretical, covering topics ranging from how to get direct deposit to how best to engage students in the classroom. Attendees should have answers to all of the most common questions about practical and logistical matters, have met the campus leadership team, and been introduced to pedagogical principles that support the teaching mission of Rider University.
All new faculty (both full-and part-time) are invited to attend this two-day event and will recieve an invitation via email to rsvp.
Teaching Talks
Purpose of the Program
The Second Friday Teaching Talks is a monthly gathering of faculty willing to share their knowledge and explore collaborative solutions to issues around teaching and learning. Faculty will talk about teaching and learning, and students’ success and engagement. We will have scheduled discussions led by colleagues on specific topics.
The Levine Lecture series
The Rider University Department of History presents the 26th annual Emanuel Levine History Lecture.
Dr. James Higgins is the author of A Short History of Medicine and Public Health in Philadelphia, 1681-2010.
The event is free and open to the public.
