Named for alumnus Alexander R. Poyda, this residence hall offers a unique living space for various levels of Rider students, however, it is also a living-learning community for first-year students and psychology students. For first-year students, Poyda helps to ease the transition to college through activities offered through Rider’s First-Year Experience program, while psychology students, can enjoy building academic and social connections with students who share similar interests. The space also houses returning and graduate students in double singles.
