How Samantha Clark found her #HomeAtRider: “After touring Rider as a senior in high school, I immediately knew it was the place for me. With excellent programs for both communications and sports media, opportunities to get involved in major-based extracurriculars and Greek life, Rider truly offered everything that I wanted to get out of my college experience. One year in, I can gladly say that I was right. My favorite memory at Rider was being awarded the School of Communication, Media and Performing Arts’ 2025 Freshman of the Year award. Being recognized for my work both inside and outside the classroom during my first year as a Bronc was incredibly meaningful and motivated me to keep pushing myself within the department. Whether you're a first-year, senior or transfer student, getting involved at Rider is the best thing you could possibly do. The opportunity to connect with people who are both similar to and different from yourself is one of the many gifts Rider offers, allowing everyone to grow into well-rounded people who are engaged in multiple areas of campus life!” Samantha Clark (she/her) is a sophomore communication studies major with a minor in sports media. On campus, she is one of two sports editors at Rider’s student-run newspaper, the Rider News (@theridernews). Additionally, she serves as the vice president of philanthropy & service for Zeta Tau Alpha (@zta_rider), where she helps lead the chapter, campus, and the broader community in raising funds to support breast cancer education and awareness.
