Dear Rider community,
We write as members of the Norm Brodsky College of Business Executive Advisory Council (EAC) to express our support for the decisions that President John R. Loyack and the Board of Trustees have made to pursue the restructuring of Rider University. These difficult choices meet the urgency of Rider’s situation with the necessary steps to stabilize the University’s finances while, most importantly, protecting academic programs and the student learning experience. With this March to Sustainability Plan, Rider can begin a transformation that promises to preserve the best of the University and set it on a course as the kind of reimagined and growing institution we believe it can and must become.
We hope all alumni will, at this pivotal time, join us in providing immediate financial support to students whose education may be at risk due to sudden financial or family hardship. This Presidential Hope Fund will be a resource to help every student complete the Rider degree that makes us all so proud and can mean so much to their lives. If you can, please be part of this collective effort to invest in today’s students and let them know that together we believe in them and in the future of Rider.
After 160 years, a new time of transformation is upon Rider. These difficult changes can set a new course for a reimagined Rider, and we will continue to do everything we can to stand with the University and all students who depend upon its future.
Sincerely,
