How Paris Lott found her #HomeAtRider “I chose Rider because it’s close to home, has a strong business school and smaller class sizes, which make it easy to build meaningful relationships with professors. I also really liked the scholarships available and that it’s a small campus full of opportunities. One of my favorite experiences was participating in the first Giants Case Study Competition. My team researched marketing ideas for the New York Giants’ 100th anniversary, and we ended up winning! We then had the incredible opportunity to present our work at MetLife Stadium directly to the New York Giants front office. Another incredible experience was going to St. Louis for the Sport Management Association Case Study Bowl, where my team and I presented a college brand strategy for a pickle company called SuckerPunch. I would tell someone considering Rider to come with an open mind. I’ve found it really valuable to build relationships with professors and ask questions, since they genuinely want to help you succeed. I would also say to step out of your shell and go to events. Getting involved on campus makes your college experience so much more rewarding.” Paris Lott is a junior double majoring in sports management and marketing. Last summer, she interned at RCA Records/Sony Music Entertainment as an urban promotion intern, where she contributed to digital campaigns designed to help artists reach new audiences, and had the opportunity to network and attend events. For her final project, she presented a department-wide rollout strategy for singer-songwriter Khalid. At Rider, Lott is the social media manager and team manager for @rubroncsvb, vice president of marketing for @dsp_rider and a member of the American Marketing Association @ama_rider_u.
