Emmy-winning start
The day before she graduated from Rider, Kaylee Ettinger ’22 was offered a full-time job in the creative services department at FOX Sports in Los Angeles. A little over a year later, she won a Sports Emmy Award in the Outstanding Technical Team Studio category for her work on the network’s 2022 FIFA World Cup programming. Today, she continues to work at FOX as a real-time graphics producer.
Semester in Los Angeles
During her senior year, Kaylee spent a full semester living, learning and working in the heart of the entertainment industry through Rider’s Semester in Los Angeles program. As an intern for Spectrum News, she covered the Los Angeles Lakers and Dodgers, creating and editing packages for pre-, halftime, post- and non-game day broadcasts.
“Working at Spectrum was an absolute dream come true as it allowed me to be a part of a major television network,” she says. “From my first day on the job, my work was broadcast on the air.”

Embracing opportunities
Kaylee hit the ground running as a freshman working for BroncVision, Rider Athletics’ event production team. She learned how to stream live graphics, operate broadcast equipment and assist with producing digital content for broadcasts, eventually becoming the graphics operator. Kaylee also embraced opportunities to serve as a multimedia intern for Rider Athletics, creating social media, digital and broadcast content, and as a production assistant for three consecutive years at the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Basketball Championships.
