The free Women’s History Month Media Panel takes place March 27 in Daly’s Mercer Room

The Women’s Center and the Office of Multicultural Affairs will host “The ‘Miss’ Interpretation of Women — How The Media Portrays Women,” a free Women’s History Month Media Panel on Thursday, March 27, in Daly’s Mercer Room at 7 p.m.
Three panel speakers will highlight the discussion: Hilary Beard, Tawanna Coleman and Aliya Crawford.
Beard is an award-winning writer, author, editor and book collaborator, specializing in health and wellness, self-help, parenting, psychology, spirituality, life and career transitions, and transformational memoirs. She has written for numerous magazines, including Dr. Phil, Essence, Ebony, Health, Heart & Soul, Plum and POZ.
Coleman is a writer, publicist, event planner and brand marketer. She has worked for Sean “P. Diddy” Combs and Queen Latifah.
Crawford is the senior vice president at W&W Public Relations. Her clients include Patti LaBelle, Alicia Keys, Rasheed Wallace, Bow Wow, Ciara, Kelly Rowland and others.
