Program Overview

Students pursuing Rider’s cybersecurity minor will develop the skills and knowledge necessary to identify and analyze cybersecurity risks and take action to mediate those risks. These skills include the implementation of policies and procedures as well as the ability to implement technical solutions to manage the risk of cybersecurity threats.

Minor Requirements

Our 18-credit minor provides instruction and teaches the skills needed to take various industry standard exams such as the CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) exam, the CISM (Certified Information Systems Manager) exam of the Information Systems Audit and the Control Association (ISACA).
