Program Overview

Rider's Communication Leadership Certificate program is designed to enhance the two most desirable and needed skills in the professional world. Communication and leadership are the cornerstones of this program which prepares students for the move to management positions. The curriculum combines courses from our Organizational Leadership and Business Communication graduate programs to maximize students' experiences with these critical skills and give them a head start in acquiring a master's degree. This certificate program is available online or on-campus.

Program Requirements

The Communication Leadership Certificate consists of 12 graduate credits that can be completed in one year on a part-time basis or one semester for full-time students. The program consists of four courses, with two coming from each corresponding graduate program. Students gain the crucial skills and knowledge needed to effectively lead and communicate in the modern workplace.

Most current MABC and M.A. in Organizational Leadership students can work the Communication Leadership Certificate into their graduate degree with minimal additional courses.

Earn Your Master's Degree

Students who earn this certificate have the option to apply the coursework toward Rider's M.A. in Business Communication (MABC) program.
