At Rider, Juli was a member of the conduct board for the Office of Community Standards and the president of the History Club. She also worked as a community assistant in Wright Hall, a senior admissions fellow and an orientation leader.

Rider's impact on Juli's career
Once she arrived at Rider, Juli became heavily involved in various activities, in some of which she held leadership positions, and worked on campus in the residence life and admissions offices. Academically, she excelled as a three-time Andrew J. Rider Scholar, an honor given to only the top one percent of upper-level students and the highest undergraduate achievement awarded at the University. And, by the end of her time at Rider, she was a member of four honor societies.
Continued success
Shortly after graduation, Juli was hired full-time as an English as a second language (ESL) teacher in the Franklin Township Public School District. Despite her career beginning during the global pandemic, Juli was able to adapt quickly to the challenges presented. Now in her third year as an ESL teacher, she dually co-teaches several history classes to help support English language learners in their classes and deliver historical content that is appropriate to their linguistic level.
Beyond the classroom, she serves as an advocate for all ESL students. Juli has worked with school administrators to incorporate the district’s equity initiative into the National Honor Society (NHS) application process and has partnered with fellow ESL teachers to refine the school’s curriculum to best suit bilingual students. In addition, she oversees various academic activities including advising for the school’s NHS chapter.
Juli notes that without the preparation and support she received from the dedicated faculty and staff in Rider’s College of Education and Human Services she would not be the educator she is today.
