Canvas Workshops
Getting Started with Canvas - This workshop will provide an overview of the Canvas environment, commonly used tools and the key steps that will allow you to quickly build and support engaging courses.

Canvas Assignments - This workshop will provide instruction on how to set up assignments. The workshop will assist participants in the creation of Assignment Groups. Participants will also learn how to create and attach a rubric to an assignment.

Canvas New Quizzes - This session will provide instruction on how to set up quizzes in Canvas using the New Quizzes tool. The workshop will assist participants in the creation of questions and question banks. Participants will review different settings, including randomization of questions, adjusting multiple attempt settings, and attaching a rubric to a quiz.

Canvas New Analytics - New Analytics provides instructors with information such as average course grades, page views, and participation analytics. It also allows instructors to send a message to all students based on specific course grade or participation criteria. This workshop will teach participants how to make the most of New Analytics and the robust data it provides.

Kaltura Workshops
Kaltura Media and Annoto: Increase Student Engagement with Class Videos! (Featuring Gili Cohen of Annoto) – Kaltura is a cloud-based video management system housed in Canvas. It allows instructors to create, upload, and share multimedia content with ease. Annoto is a tool that works with Kaltura media to enable student participation, turning passive video watching into interactive learning experiences. This session will review how to upload videos into Kaltura and how to use Annoto to increase student engagement.
