The landing page of Rider University’s newly redesigned website has been selected as an official honoree in the category of Best Home/Welcome Page in the 15th Annual Webby Awards, the leading international award honoring excellence on the Internet.

You’re invited to a birthday party commemorating the 50th anniversary of Switlik Residence Hall on Tuesday, April 26, from 4 to 6 p.m. in front of the “building of honor.” The half-century celebration will include a barbecue, a chocolate fountain and a birthday cake to remember, courtesy of Fedora Café of Lawrenceville.

Join the team for its April 26 game against Fairfield, which has been designated a Code Cranberry game. All students, faculty and staff are also invited to attend the 3 p.m. game at Sonny Pittaro Field, where they can also enjoy free hamburgers and hot dogs.

Senior Fine Arts major Matthew Cintron will host an opening reception for his Senior Honors Thesis Exhibition on Thursday, April 21, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in the Rider University Art Gallery, located on the second floor of the Bart Luedeke Center. All members of the Rider community are welcome to attend this free reception.
