Mark Dixon, founder of YERT – Your Environmental Road Trip – will share his experiences from his yearlong eco-expedition through all 50 United States as the keynote speaker for Rider’s Earth Day 2011 celebration.

As the captain of the Rider tennis team, Amanda Matticks loves having the opportunity to serve, but the senior also often finds herself netting “service points” away from the varsity tennis court. For the past three years, Matticks has hosted a tennis clinic for a group of approximately 30 children from the National Junior Tennis and Learning of Trenton.

Dr. Frank Rusciano has gone to great lengths to bring an international perspective to students at Rider. Now, as the recipient of the Fulbright – University of Ulster Policy Studies Award from the Fulbright Foundation, Rusciano will once again take his own experiences overseas – this time, to Northern Ireland.

As the quality of mass-consumption foods deteriorates, the opportunity to eat healthier, forge friendships and boost the economy might be right down the road.

Despite the cloudy weather, 130 participants and volunteers gathered on Rider’s chilly Lawrenceville campus to run in the third annual Run Over Violence 5k.

More than 100 students participated in the second annual Team Leadership Challenge: “Navigating Your Path to Success" on April 10.
