Career-climbers can now tune into 107.7 The Bronc on Sunday mornings at 8 a.m. for an new and interactive call-in program entitled Your Career is Calling: Your Weekly Appointment for Career Choices, Decisions and Success.

Maureen Kyle, administrative specialist in the Dean of Students’ office on the Lawrenceville campus; head wrestling coach Gary Taylor; and Drew Aromando, executive director of One Stop Services, were presented with the 2010 Frank N. Elliott Award for Distinguished Service during the Opening Fall Convocation on September 2 in the Yvonne Theater.

Rider University’s men’s basketball team collected school supplies and donated backpacks filled with pens, pencils, glue sticks, erasers and scissors, as well as Rider T-shirts, and donated them to Larry Richardson and the “It’s Academic Sports Mentorship Program” in Trenton.

The 940 new students arriving at their appointed residence halls for Move-In Day on Rider’s Lawrenceville campus might have found the sunny, warm and dry weather uncharacteristically nice for Labor Day weekend, but the spirit of helpfulness and community they also encountered is something they’re just going to have to get used to.

Rider unveiled the new turf field on Friday, September 10th with a women's soccer game against Fairleigh Dickinson University. The game marked the first night game in Rider's history.

Cranberry Fest will be held on Tuesday, September 14, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on the Campus Mall. The entire University community is invited to enjoy delicious cranberry cuisine, live music and games with friends and colleagues.
