Peace Corps volunteers bring education, better conditions, to a village in Niger

Minding Our Business, a community outreach project organized by the College of Business Administration at Rider University, will be able to offer its summer programming thanks to a handful of recent grants.

More than 100 educators turned out for Rider's second annual Teacher Leadership Community Institute, which strengthened approaches to teacher effectiveness and student achievement.

At the start of their summer break, 10 students helped renovate and repair the local school in a small town in Costa Rica.

Angela DiFranco '11 was recognized by the state Department of Education as a 2011 New Jersey Distinguished Student Teacher award recipient, one of just 15 selected for this prestigious honor.

Three distinguished Rider University graduates were honored at the Alumni Awards presentation on June 14 inside the Mercer Room. These awards are presented annually as part of the Reunion Weekend festivities on the Lawrenceville campus.
