Chemistry major Paul Ghattas’ 12 wasn’t sure where his love of the field would take him. Now, after an internship at Capital Health System, he’s headed to medical school at Penn State.

A native of Ghana who now lives in Irvington, N.J., Syntyche Dennis ’12 cares for her fellow humans through a variety of service ventures, both on campus and off.

Basking Ridge, N.J., resident Heather Shankman ’12, who will present this year’s student address at Rider’s Undergraduate Commencement on May 11, did not let a serious heart ailment keep her from her goals.

Rider University’s annual Awards Banquet on April 28 featured the prestigious President’s Award.

The prestigious President’s Award was bestowed upon Loni Chasar ’12, Brian Williams ’12 and Heather Jones ’12.

Jessica Burgh ’12 is the first child of a Rider graduate who also happens to be a faculty member to earn a degree from the institution. Her father, Dr. Richard Burgh ’68, is a professor of Philosophy.
